The Trafford Suite is one of The Midland’s standout function spaces. Beautifully decorated with detailed plasterwork, it’s also known as the first place in the UK where the Tango was ever danced. Today it provides a stunning room for the most elegant wedding, and you can easily seat up to 160 guests.
Right next door, The Octagon Lounge offers a semi-private space for drinks before your wedding breakfast in the Trafford Suite.

Originally a reading room created for Edwardian gentlemen, the Stanley Suite’s restored wooden panelling evokes the ambiance of a classic private members club.
